Common Questions & Answers about our mailing list

What is it?

It's a system that allows people to post messages of interest to other mailing list members. These messages are relayed to the rest of the mailing list members who may choose to read or respond to them as they wish

Who can sign up?

Anyone with a genuine interest in the plight of stray & feral cats. This forum is primarily intended to be of interest to the central Indiana feral community, but anyone is welcome to contribute.

Do I have to come to the web site to participate?

Not at all. In fact, once you sign up, you can read and post messages directly from your own e-mail account, regardless of where or how you access your e-mail. There is also the ability to read posted messages via the mailing list web page too.

Will my e-mail address be visible on the web site?

For purposes of preserving the privacy of subscribers, only list members are allowed to see the names of the other list members. Additionally, anyone on the list may choose to have their presence not openly published on the list, even to other subscribers.

Will I get SPAM after I sign up?

NO! No commercial solicitation will be tolerated on the mailing list. If someone does this, they will be reminded of this policy and if they persist in violating it, they will be permanently removed. Also, although there is currently no technical solution to enforce this, subscription to this list for purposes of obtaining information about list members for commercial use is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
